Textiles Sydney

Textiles Sydney is a collective that fosters the creation of all things textile. We provide a forum for practitioners to share their knowledge and skill in weekly making sessions, host workshops and talks on a range of textile subjects, and hold an annual exhibition of members’ work. We also facilitate community art projects.

In the beautiful studio at the Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre we have talented and friendly people spinning, weaving, sewing, embroidering, knitting, crocheting, felting, dyeing … there’s so much to do!

All ages, sexes and levels of skill are welcome: you can be a complete beginner or a skilled craftsperson. The aim of the group is to share knowledge and conversation and enjoy each other’s company.
