Primrose Paper Arts promotes the making and use of paper for art works. The centre provides one of the few open access hand-papermaking studios in Australia and has a comprehensive range of materials and equipment.

PPA holds formal workshops with experienced teachers from around Australia and overseas, collaborative group projects, informal groups, open days and exhibitions.

Whether you are already an artist, or you want to explore your creativity for the first time, membership of Primrose Paper Arts provides you with the opportunity to work with, and learn from, a unique group of artists in a supportive, inspirational, collegiate environment.

There is nothing more satisfying than being able to use paper you have made yourself for your artworks, or to extend your art into other forms such as collage, embossing, paper sculpture, pulp painting, jewellery, handmade artists’ books, art journals, or scrapbooking. You can experiment with cotton or other fabrics, or with plants growing in your garden as the basis for your paper.
