Artists in the Park
The Artists in the Park run a vibrant cooperative painting group on Tuesdays where experienced artists come together and share ideas on the creative journey to becoming skilled artists.
The group has regular brainstorming sessions to develop workshop ideas and activities. Each term, a professional artist is invited to demonstrate their individual approach to their artwork. The group gains insight into different styles and techniques, from using oils to sketching and multimedia and observing work from start to finish.
The Artist's group enjoy many excursions to art galleries and art film nights. Each November, the group host an art exhibition in the mezzanine gallery.
The renovated studios make it a wonderful place to work creatively in and the group appreciates North Sydney Council’s support of this art space.

A broad ranging painting class that will enable each student to learn specific painting techniques, experiment with subject and style, and to fulfil their creative potential.

Anna-Carien Goosen is experienced in both oil and acrylic and her teaching style is enthusiastic and inclusive. There will be plenty of individual feedback as students develop their unique approaches and styles.
Basic painting experience is ideal but all skill levels are welcome! Let us know if you are a beginner, so that she can take you through a series of small structured exercises in order to get to place of comfortable confidence.

No refunds, credits or transfers are offered to students due to a change of circumstance or missed classes.
If a course needs to be postponed or cancelled under any circumstances students will be contacted and a full refund offered.
The course will have a maximum of 12 students.
